I wanna let you know that I now offer online lessons on Agile, Scrum and Kanban! Yes, I'm an Agile practitioner for around 5 years now. My I.T. journey started back in 2002. Fresh out of college, I was hired as a web developer for a local bank. I started with ASP classic and VB6 (I'm old, I know! haha). Eventually, I also learned JAVA, ASP.Net and PHP. You could say in terms of programming languages, I'm a jack of all trades but master of none type, haha!

After 7 years of doing tech work, I decided it's time for me to move to I.T. Project Management. I worked as a Project Manager for different companies for several years. Everything was fine and good until the current company I'm with suddenly decided that they want become more Agile in delivering our software products.

Honestly, at first I didn't really care that much. Agile? Ok, sure, let's do it. Little did I know that this Agile thing would become my passion and fast forward to 2019, I'm now a Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master II(advanced Scrum Master) and Professional Scrum Product Owner. I now also coach different teams in our office on how to become truly Agile. I team them SCRUM and Kanban and help them fit it in their current work environment. I'm proud to share that I'm getting really positive results with these teams! I'm also very active in the Agile Philippines community and regularly connect with people who share the same passion for Agile as me.

Now, I want to offer this service to you via online Skype coaching sessions! If you're interested to learn Agile, Scrum and Kanban, lets talk! I'm on Fiverr.com or you may reach me here.
It will be the band that would enable me to play other music genres that I also love hehe!

A Little History:

In 2015, I recruited Masha's drummer Tobs and my former officemate Mike to play the bass to start the band. I then posted online to look for a singer/songwriter. Luckily, Ryan saw and responded to my ad and we were able to start the band.

The music we play is a combination of indie, alternative, rock, reggae and ska music. We spent a year practicing and writing our own material before releasing our first song to the public.

This first song is called "No One Gets It on Their First Try". It was written by our vocalist/guitarist Ryan Gonzales. It's about chasing your dreams and being positive along the way. We recorded this song with Nick Lazaro at La balls Studio in Makati City, Philippines back in around May to July 2016.

The song became part of Philippine radio station Jam 88.3 FM's regular playlist (thanks to their Fresh Filter show) and eventually was ranked #58 in Jam 88.3s Top 88 Tracks of 2016!

Still Steady is composed of:
All six competitors, which included DJs Franco Zarate, K Groove (Kristian Hernandez), and Kouta Kutsuma, were given 15 minutes to impress the two judges, multiple DMC title holder DJ Shortkut and Vestax-ITF-DMC Champion VDJ Ta-Shi; and to rouse the Valkyrie crowd with various tracks, bold samples, and technical prowess.

The now two-time Thre3style champion already had the party throng up and moving for most of his set with seamless jumps from one genre to another, clever use of samples, and a body juggle. But he made sure to leave the stage with a strong impression and an audience screaming for more as he played part of Kanye Westâs infamous 2011 Grammy acceptance speech that went, âEverybody wanted to know what I would do if I didnât win⌠I guess weâll never know.â

Of the daring choice, the young DJ said, âI liked really the ending. When I found that sample of Kanye West, I was like, âDang it, I gotta use this. I gotta claim it. I gotta take it.ââ

The 25-year-old admitted to feeling more pressure this time around; the exact opposite of his experience as an underdog the previous year. DJ Carlo took what he learned from that first competition appearance and added new dimensions, which he showcased at this yearâs finals.

âI wanted to implement genres that people arenât used to hearing in normal DJ sets here in the Philippines: future house, old school hip-hop, dancehall, and punk rock. And I sequenced these tracks in a balanced way. When I would play top 40, I would [follow it up with] dancehall, then top 40 again, then old school hip-hop, back to top 40, and so on. So I made the judges happy while I kept the audience interested and alive.â

First runner-up DJ Niki wowed the audience with a 15-minute mix that cut across genres and showed off his artistic sensibilities. âActually, Thre3style has been my style during club sets and everywhere else. [It] shows [people] how to really rock a party. You really donât have to stay in one genre, you have to experiment [and figure out] what people will like.â

The competitionâs youngest bet, 18-year-old DJ Miguel, had higher hopes at the national finals but said that his second runner-up finish was a good start. He showed off his turntable skills to the hundreds gathered with a set made up of hip-hop, rock, house, electro, funk, and old school pop. âI visualized my tracks to progress up to a climax and end it with a bang. I didnât want my set to be on a standard energy level.â

Now that the national champion has been declared, DJ Carlo is setting his sights on Japan and the world championship that eluded him last 2014. âWell, last year we got third [place]. So Iâm hoping we can move up a slot or, you know, we get first. Iâll do my best â again â to represent us all.â

Red Bull Thre3style pits the worldâs best DJs in a competition that values technical skill as much as the ability to thrill a dancefloor. Competitors are judged on the dual platforms of technical ability and crowd reaction, and are given just 15 minutes each to prove that theyâre the best in the room. Judges work to a strict criteria that also marks DJs on their originality in song choices, confidence performing and mixing prowess.

I'm really happy to announce that my band, Masha, has released its first ever music video! This is for the song "Alas Singko" (5 o'clock). The song is about the daily struggles of your regular 9 to 5 worker and the excitement he/she feels when it's almost time to go home at 5 o'clock. Definitely something that anyone could relate to :)

Would you believe that the music video was shot in just a day in various parts of Metro Manila? Not bad, huh? Here's another trivia, the music video features Kate Bernal(if you are wondering, yes, she's the sister of actress, Kris Bernal) and everyone in the band could be seen in various parts of the video. Check it out below:

What do you think? Did you see me? Haha!

Anyway, I would like to thank Fourth Wall Media, Kate, my brothers in Masha and everyone who helped us make this music video possible. Hopefully, we'll also see it on MYX and MTV Pinoy soon!

'Til my next post..love and peace! :)

Masha started back in May 2013 and is actively playing gigs in bars around Metro Manila. Today, I wanna share with you one of the bands that I currently play in. The name of the band is Flub. I started this band with my good friend, Noel (who is also my bandmate in my other previous bands).

The idea came about back in 2011 when Noel and I got really frustrated because we didn't have a band at that time and we really wanted to play some fast, punk rock music. After a few lunch meetings during office breaks, Flub was born!

The current Flub line-up:
Ace Ablay - Bass
Tobs Tobio - Drums
Noel San Felipe - Vocals, Guitars
Paulo Rodriguez - Guitars

We have recently finished recording our first EP entitled "Urban Fairytales and Folklore". It contains 3 original tracks. The first song "Super Cheezy Mega Love Story" is now available for free at our Facebook bandpage: http://www.facebook.com/flubmusic. Please feel free to download and share it to your friends. We would be releasing a song from the EP every month so watch out for it.

It's really funny 'coz we were initially planning to write/play some hard, fast rock songs but ended up sounding so alternative rock. Whatever. As long as we like it and we're having fun then I guess we don't care, hehehe!

We have played several gigs around the metro already and we plan to play some more though we would like to focus more on writing, recording and releasing original music. We target to start recording again by November 2013. In the meantime, please do check out our songs and I hope to see you in one of our gigs soon!
Need an NBI clearance? If you live in Manila Philippines, you are in luck! I have a great tip for you. Read on my friend.

Most of us know that to get an NBI clearance, you have to go very early to an NBI satellite office and fall in line there until you get your clearance. This is fine...if you're willing to spend at least half of your day there. I went there today at 10AM and, believe me, the number I got was already #203. Not cool.

There is a better way. And I will share it with you today. Are you ready? Here we go!

Rather than going directly to an NBI Satellite office, I would suggest that you rather go to the "We Lead Companies" office http://weleadcompanies.com at the 21st floor of Galleria Corporate Center (which is right beside Robinsons Galleria) and have it processed there.

What you need:
1. A working email address that you could access there.
2. Cash to pay for the service.
3. Valid IDs.

That's it.

What happens is that, they encode all your info there and accept your payment as well. I paid for Php200 only all in all(Php115 NBI clearance + Online Fee Php25 + Service fee Php60). After which they would give you a printed sheet of paper with a QR code. You will now have to go to the NBI satellite office at the basement of Robinson's Galleria and proceed to the line for "Step 3" so they could take your picture and get your fingerprints. Just make sure you go to correct line so you don't waste time. After this, go to "Step 4" which is the releasing step and then you're done!

It took me around an hour to finish everything as there was a short line on "Step 4". But an hour is nothing when processing these kinds of documents. Do note that if your name gets a "Hit", you will have to come back to the NBI Satellite office on the date that they would provide you to get your NBI clearance.

Easy isn't it? Let me know if you have questions :)
A few weekends back, I invited my wife to go out so we could buy a new pair of rubber shoes for her since her old ones are already worn out. So off we went to Robinson's Forum Pioneer (since it's near our place) and visited the shoe store, Olympic Outlet, located at the 2nd floor of the mall. In front of the store, I was just mindlessly going through the different shoes on display, not really planning to buy anything, however, I was surprised to find this:
World Balance Easy Soft shoes

It looks like a pair of leather shoes but it is actually make of rubber! Here are my initial observations:

the shoes actually look good

it is lightweight

the rubber material used could easily be mistaken as leather which means I could use it in the office

they're sold for only Php299! (oh yes, I am stingy hehe!)

So when my wife was able to find a pair of rubber shoes for herself, I told her I want one of those World Balance Easy Soft shoes outside.

After using the shoes in the past few weeks, here are what I observed:

they are very comfortable to use

they are water-proof. It was raining hard yesterday when I went out of the office for dinner, and my feet was protected from the rain.

nobody in the office noticed that it wasn't actually made of leather.

One downside, though, is that your feet could somehow get sweaty inside since the shoe is really air tight. A good pair of black cotton socks could easily solve this.

The World Balance Easy Soft shoes come in different designs and colors: white, black and brown.

I highly recommend these shoes to people who want a comfortable yet affordable pair of shoes. These shoes are perfect for the rainy days! Also, I think it would be very easy to wash them since they're made of rubber and the in-sole is removable. I plan to use this as an alternate to my usual daily leather shoes.

Great job to World Balance for coming up with good products at low prices!
A lot of things took my time in the past months and my music blog just had to take a backseat for awhile. But now that I have more free time, there's just no more reason for me not to bring this blog back to life!
Today, I wanna tell you about a new band that I'm listening to. The band is called "The Winery Dogs" and is composed of three very accomplished musicians:

Richie Kotzen - guitar, vocals (former guitarist of Poison, Mr. Big)
Billy Sheehan - bass (bassist of Mr. Big)
Mike Portnoy - drums (ex-drummer of Dream Theater)
The songs in their self titled album are really rocking! I could also hear some blues music influences on some songs. I'm really glad these guys got together in this age of pop, pop, and more pop, rock music could use some push. The guitar sounds on this album are superb! Billy and Mike are incredible musicians but it's Richie Kotzen who really shines on this record. His singing voice and guitar lines are just amazing. I'm a big fan and if you're a serious guitar player like me, this record will definitely make you want to practice more.

Standout tracks for me are: "I'm no angel" and "You saved me". The album is available on Amazon or on iTunes. I really hope these guys do come over to play in the Philippines someday.
I'm really amazed that TV is really now on the internet(or the internet is now on your TV hehe!).

I remember not so long ago, whenever I want to watch a show or the latest rock music videos, I would have to sit and wait for a long time in front of the TV for it. Good thing now that we have the internet and we can watch the shows we want on-demand.
And music videos may easily be searched and viewed via YouTube.

But if you're looking for something new, something different and something Pinoy, then I highly recommend you visit Flippish.com. With a very wide variety of shows, I'm pretty sure they have something that you would enjoy. For me, my favorite shows are Happy Endings, Ashley's Playlist and LSS: Last Song Syndrome.
Manila Music Festival 2012
May 1, 2012
Aseana Ave. Alphaland Bay City Grounds in Paranaque City

Manila Music Festival is an event organized by Volume Unit Entertainment, the same group that made the highly successful Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival. The two day celebration that was held last February 18-19, 2011.

The Philippine music scene is unique. With the energy, excitement, and passion that the artists brings on and off the stage just sets the house jumping over the ground. Filipino bands, performers, DJâs, songwriters and dancers alike give their mind and soul whenever they perform, making them one of the greatest performers of the world.

Regardless of the massive number of talents, the number of musical events in the Philippines are very low. Yes, there are somewhat a number of annual music festivals like Pulp Summer Slam and the San Miguel Oktoberfest, which might I say remarkable, but with the talents that our local artists have, there is basically no excuse not to come up with a bigger astounding that will leave the world so dumbstruck they wonât even know what hit them.

Now VUE is back for another round of fun and excitement through the art of music. Showcasing some of the greatest musicians both international and local.

So girls and boys Mark your calendars on May 1, 2012. In cooperation with Sofitel Philippine Plaza, Ticketworld, Department of Tourism, and Universal Zulu Nation. About 5,000 people will take part and experience yet another historic event in our countryâs music scene. DJâs, Bands, and solo performers around the world will be participating and witness one of the most booming and prosperous event this year. The Manila Music Festival is bound to be an outbreak of melodies, symphonies, notes, beats and lyrics from all music genres.

Volume Unit Entertainment has two main roles: First is change-making, which they already did and currently doing. Second is to put on an awesome show that will exceed beyond expectations and will defy all limits of imagination.
I was out looking for a new group to play with since my band at that time decided to take a break for awhile. I met Chris, our bassist, in a tryout jam for a "Creed" inspired cover band. Unfortunately, the band did not push through but we kept in touch.

After a few weeks, I got a message from Chris inviting me to join an alternative rock band he was forming. He said he already has a drummer, Tobs, and he's out looking for a guitar player and a singer. At that time I was already talking to Les, our vocalist, and planning a band him with too so I also invited him to join us as well. And it turned out pretty well! After a few jams, Chris invited his friend, Weak, to join and play the guitar for us and so The Finishing Moves was born!

Even though we have different tastes in music, we have successfully created a good alternative sound that we could call our own. Our inspirations include the following bands: Minus the Bear, Mutemath, Toe, Mastodon and Radiohead.

We have recorded 2 original songs which are currently posted in our facebook band page http://www.facebook.com/tfmrocks
I strongly disagree. If you know where to go to, you'll see a lot of Indie bands making beautiful original music in the underground scene. It's just that most local rock bands now don't make it to mainstream radio because of all the fascination of pinoys with "K-Pop" and the usual OPM novelty pop.

But Pinoy Rock ain't dead. No way. It's just sleeping for now. :)

Anyway, one way to help the current situation of OPM "Pinoy Rock", is to, well, contribute. So how do you exactly go about it? Let me share to you some tips:

How to Start a Band, Tip # 1: Learn to play a musical instrument.

If you have been planning to learn to play a musical instrument before or you really enjoyed playing "rock band"/"guitar hero" in the arcades, then you might have a calling! Now is the time to try and learn to play the real thing!

With so much free resources on the internet, there's no excuse for you not to learn to play an instrument. Just make that first step and buy that guitar/bass/drums you've been looking at. It doesn't matter if you buy the cheap ones first for you could easily upgrade your gear as you get better and more serious in your craft.

Of course, there's nothing better than learning to play a musical instrument than learning with a music teacher. Having a teacher would provide you with musical guidance and inspiration. You may take the "self taught" path but if you really want to learn faster, you should go out and find a music teacher. You may inquire at local music stores too for lessons.

So what are you waiting for?! Let's go and wake up Pinoy Rock together! :)

Today I wanna share with you one of the best things that ever happened to my life, and that is how I started my long running love affair with music.

I remember it was 1994 and I was a quiet kid in school, just doing my homework everyday and so addicted to playing video games. I really didn't have a hobby, I guess the options weren't many for kids my age back then.

Anyway, one day during the summer vacation of that year, I was hanging out with my one of my neighbor friends who lives across the street from my mom's house when all of a sudden he brought out a black a cassette tape and said that he's going to play some cool music that I should check out. Turns out this tape is an album of the great Bon Jovi called "Slippery When Wet".

*Image from Amazon.com

I was instantly hooked. The music I was hearing was something I've never heard before. Upbeat and mellow at times, I loved the sound coming at me! I was really fascinated with the guitar sounds I was hearing.

So when the weekend came and my parents brought us to the mall, I went out on a mission to research this rock music I heard in my friend's place and went straight to the nearest record store. Man, was I in for a surprise, there were a lot of albums under the rock section and the covers we so cool too! I spent more than an hour just browsing the rows of cassette tapes in front of me.

*Image from Amazon.com

My first rock album ever was White Lion's "The Best of White Lion". Just like the guitars I heard in Bon Jovi's album, they were amazing!

The next week, I bought Bon Jovi's New Jersey album.

*Image from Amazon.com

From then on, I would save my small school allowance and buy a rock album every weekend. For special occassions, I would ask my mom and dad to buy me a rock tape as gift.

And this is how I ended up now: playing guitar in bands, making orignal music and doing bar gigs. Music has defined my life literally, it defined who I hang out with and the things I did on my free time, the things I focus on.

I'm really glad I heard that Bon Jovi album. Now I will end this post with one of the first ever Bon Jovi songs I heard, "Never Say Goodbye". Enjoy!
Most are common sense in nature, but just in case:

*image from Araneta Coliseum's website

1. If you don't have reserved seats, be there for at least 2 hours before the show. This will at least give you a chance to get a good spot.

2. Don't be shy to ask if you're in the proper line for your ticket. This will save a lot of pain.

3. Outside food is not allowed in Araneta Coliseum. Unless you plan to buy from the food stalls inside(which is a bit pricey), make sure you've had a good meal before going in. This will serve as your fuel so you could dance and cheer all night long 'til the last song.

4. Wear comfortable shoes. Chances are you will be standing the entire show.

5. If you don't have reserved seats and you and your friends plan to meet inside the Coliseum instead, you could use the Ad banners at the top sides as guide so your friends will know more or less where you're seated.

6. You could use your mobile phone as a flashlight when walking through dark aisles. Be careful though with your stuff when in dark places and don't forget to set your phone to silent mode while inside the venue.

7. And lastly, have fun! Leave all your worries behind while you're inside Araneta. You have all the time in the world to deal with them after the show.
I mean, yeah they do have great modulation effects (chorus, phaser, flanger, delay, etc.) but usually their overdrives/distortions suck big time! They sound so processed and so fake that it makes you just wanna run to the mountains and throw the damn pedal all the way down(harsh, I know, hahaha)! Usually, I say to my peers, "I'd rather have one good overdrive pedal than have a crappy sounding multi-effects on gigs".

And for years, I've been this way with guitar multi-effects pedals. I never really looked at another one, not until I realized that I was gonna be playing alone most of the time at home again since most of my bandmates were either busy or just doing their own thing. I suddenly needed a device that would let me feel that I'm playing with other musicians. Something that has a looper, a drum machine, different guitar effects and headphone output(for quiet playing).

And this is when I gave the guitar multi-effects another chance and got my hands on the Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi-effects pedal. And boy was I missing out!

For some reason, the amp models and distortions/overdrives on this unit are very usable. They're quite good, actually. The modulations are just the way they should be: beautiful. It has a 20 second looper, a built-in tuner, drum machine/metronome, a headphone output jack and a USB recording interface. It even came with a power adapter! I got all of this for only Php5,200(around $110)! Visit Digitech's website to learn more about the RP155.

It's the perfect thing to have when you're home, alone and you're looking to rock out or practice with your guitar! It even allowed me to jam with one of friends virtually! Checkout our video below:
For those who don't know, the Foo Fighters is an american rock band formed by ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. But in this band, Dave writes the songs, sings them and even plays the guitar too.

I remember when I heard the 1st Foo Fighter's album back in '95, I was really surprised that Dave, being a drummer of a big rock band before, could write good tunes and even sing them. I was also amazed that he played all the instruments in that first album. Amazing!

Anyway, I wanna talk a bit about the documentary the band released recently entitled "Back and Forth". I watched it with my wife a few weeks back, and what could I say, I could really relate to it.

I was really impressed by their honesty throughout the video. They talked about their experiences when they were first starting out. The conflicts, the struggles, the wins and losses and everything else that every band goes through.

But it was on the latter part that made me say, "wow, this is what I want!". I just saw in front of me how I want my life to look like when I turn 40 something: Being in a loving family and yet still seriously rocking it out with my band. Oh yeah, that's what I want and these guys are living it! It was really touching to see them make their latest album at Dave's place, each of them bringing in their own families, kids and all of them just having fun together.

I believe any serious musician would want to watch this documentary. Specially those with kids. Check out the video trailer below:
Have you ever had one of those days where everything just seems to go wrong? When after all your planning and efforts, everything just crumbles right before your eyes. Well, you're not alone. I'm pretty sure all of us in this world had his/her share of gloomy days.

For this post, I'll be sharing with you the things I do when those rainy days come. I learned these from reading books and attending seminars. Some might work for you, some might not but these tips are so simple you just gotta try them.

Tips on Being Happy:
1. Count your Blessings. A lot of people tend to focus on the bad the things that happen to them so much that they forget the beautiful things in their lives. It may sound like clichĂŠ but believe me, it works. So get a pen and a paper and write down the good things in your life right now. Be as simple as you can. Here are some of mine:

a. I have eyes and I could see my beautiful wife and kid.
b. I sleep on a comfortable bed in the safety of my home.
c. I have ears that work and I could listen to all the music I want.

*Liam smiling

Write as many as you can and keep this list somewhere you could easily read it whenever you feel sad. Also, try to add to it everyday.

2. Go out. Nothing refreshes the mind better than exercise. Play your favorite sport. Go ride a bike. Take a walk around town. Make sure you appreciate the little simple things around you like the clouds, the big trees etc as you go around.

*with my family at Boracay

3. Stay away from negative things. And this includes negative people. If you truly wanna be happy, you gotta stay stay away from people and things that make you sad. Don't watch the bad news on tv, watch a funny movie or sitcom instead. Don't read the bad news on paper, read the funny comics section instead or find a good book. Don't listen to sad music. Honestly, I threw away all my cds with those old "sentimental" songs. Don't hang out with people who have nothing good to say, they'll just ruin your day. Instead, invite one of your positive good friends for a movie, coffee or dinner.

4. Eat some bananas! This may sound weird but yes they do work. Try it out :)

Remember, life is too short to be so sad. You create your life, so enjoy it as much as you can.

Have fun!

In choosing electric guitar strings, make sure you choose the right type for the kind of guitar you're going to use it on. Acoustic guitars strings are usually made of Phosphor Bronze so be careful with these. Guitar strings also come in different gauges. Rule of thumb is "the thicker the strings, the better the tone". But then, the thicker your strings are, the harder it is to play. Guitar shredders often use .009s string gauge for ease of playing fast runs. But I strongly suggest you don't go any lower than this. My guitar string gauge of choice is .010s.

Common mistake made by guitarists is that they wait for their string to break before changing them. Remember, serious guitar players change their guitar strings at least every month! And also, when you change guitar strings, make sure you change them all. New guitar strings usually sound brighter and livelier than old ones.

Of all these guitar strings available on the market today, my preferred brand would be the Snarling Dogs Electric guitar strings. I chose this because of it's affordable and is of good quality. These can be bought at Lazer Music Store for only P220 per set.

Tips:
1. When buying guitar strings, make sure that the strings inside the pack are complete and are of the right gauges. Also, check if all the strings have ball-ends.
2. Use a string winder.

Have fun!!!Paulohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17144175701901275432noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060615507950964623.post-80450660987689253972011-04-24T17:00:00.003+08:002013-09-30T15:06:21.143+08:00Guitar Tip #3: Buy Good Quality Guitar CablesLike the Guitar Tuner, another item that is often overlooked by guitar players is the Guitar Cable. The Guitar cable is the wire you use to connect your guitar to your different stomp boxes and amplifier.

*my custom made guitar cables (klotz and neutrik plugs)

A lot of guitar players just use any guitar cable they could get their hands on. Most buy the cheap thin no brand cables which easily break. Honestly, I was guilty of this before and I could still remember the many times these cheap, crap cables has failed me.

Imagine playing on a gig then suddenly losing your guitar sound in the middle of your solo. Imagine plugging your guitar then all you hear is buzzing and humming. Imagine jamming with your friends and you spending 75% of the time trying to make your guitar cables work. Imagine having to buy guitar cables almost every month. That sucks doesn't it?

I just got tired of all of it and decided to invest on good quality guitar cables. My guitar cable of choice is the Klotz instrument cable. I use Neutrik professional phone plugs with these. I bought these custom made in Audiophile at Robinson's Pioneer Mandaluyong for around 700php($16) for 6 meters.

Some Useful Tips:
a. I strongly suggest you use a right angled(L-type) plug on one end of your guitar cable and a straight plug on the other. You'll never know when you'll need these.

b. Avoid going over 6 meters(20ft.) when buying a guitar cable. The longer the cable the more signal you lose.

I've been using these for 3 years now and it hasn't let me down. So if you're serious about playing music, please use quality guitar cables.

Some of the more popular brands of guitar cables include: Lava Cables, Klotz, Planet Waves, George L's among others.

The Bottom Line: Buying good quality guitar cables will save you a lot of cash and headaches in the long run.
